Gifted and Talented

Gifted and Talented Nominations for Scholars in Grades 1st – 5th
Nominations for Gifted & Talented (GT) are being accepted from November 1, 2022 to December 2, 2022 for scholars enrolled in first through fifth grade. If you would like to nominate your child for this program, please contact your child’s professor to request his/her input. The professor will be able to tell you if s/he is seeing characteristics of a gifted child and will be able to evaluate your child in relation to others at his/her grade level. It is often difficult to determine how advanced a child is unless s/he is able to be compared to his/her peers. Scholars who qualify for GT by the end of the first semester will begin services Spring 2023. 

Nomination forms, Permission to Test Forms, and the Parent Report Forms are available on our website. Hard copies of the GT forms may also be picked up in the counselor’s office.
