Mrs. Tangie Smith

It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself, Tangie Smith, as the Proud Counselor at Collegiate Preparatory Elementary.  My goal is to directly impact all scholars' social and emotional development through a Comprehensive School Counseling Program. My passion for education and supporting the success of all scholars has been shaped over the past several years as a teacher.  It is my number one priority at Prep to ensure that a Comprehensive School Counseling Program is available to every scholar.

As the school counselor, I provide a variety of services to our scholars, teachers, and support staff.  These services include but are not limited to: Individual Counseling, Small Group Counseling, Core Curriculum, and Teacher/Parent Consultation.  On a daily basis I will be involved in character education, violence prevention, career planning, and much more.

I look forward to becoming an integral part of the community and working with each of our stakeholders to continue the great successes at Prep.
